About the founders
Skylar Ashcraft
Hi, My name is Skylar Ashcraft and I am currently a student at Warsaw Community High School. For over 12 years, my father has been overseas with the US Army. While being separated for so long, I realized I wanted to do something to help him everyone else in his unit. Coming from a personal level, I know how hard the holidays are for soldiers who are away from their family. That is why Kendall and I decided to start Hearts from Home.
Kendall Hepler
Hi, my name is Kendall Hepler and I am currently a student at Warsaw Community High School. Ever since I can remember, my mom has been a teacher. I remember going to preschool for the morning and then spending the afternoon in her room. Through this experience I have grown a love for kids. When Skylar and I created Hearts from Home we wanted to be able to incorporate the whole community.
